Sustainability & Responsibility

SUSTAINABILITY

From day one we set out to be a business that does not ride the wave of fashion in a destructive way. In its third year, Heidi changed the business model of the brand from being one that produced new collections every season, to one that had more focus on products with longevity and classic appeal.

MATERIALS

From the humble beginnings of an entirely bootstrapped business, we have always been meticulous about how we use materials and where they come from and are careful to use up or recycle any waste materials. We are constantly looking at new materials and production methods and considering ways of changing for the better. At the moment we produce all of our products in-house or in small workshops in England.

We do use a variety of materials, including real leather and plastics and in 2026 we will be introducing a vegan collection. We produce on a relatively small scale and we do not produce disposable products, so there is minimal waste.

PEOPLE

Our policies support issues around anti-corruption, human rights, labour, equal opportunities, diversity and health and safety.

CHARITABLE DONATIONS

Since the creation of the brand in 2001, Heidi has donated her products and taken time to create bespoke products to donate to various charitable causes. Recipients include Great Ormond Street Hospital, Cancer Research, The MOBO Awards, Guide Dog's For The Blind and Hoi An Orphanage.
